Terms of Service

Effective date: October 22, 2026 (last updated October 24, 2026)

These terms are an agreement between you and Autopilot Digital LLC (“we”) for the RenameBee Chrome extension and website. By installing or using RenameBee you agree to them.

1. What RenameBee does

RenameBee renames Google Drive files that you select, according to rules you set. You review a preview before any rename happens. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy.

AI name suggestions are optional. They run with Chrome’s built-in AI on your computer, which only works on computers that meet Chrome’s requirements. Suggestions can be wrong or unsuitable: they only fill the preview, and you decide whether to rename. Each plan includes a number of AI name suggestions per Google account per month, as shown on our website; these amounts may change over time.

2. Your responsibilities

You must have permission to rename the files you select. Review the preview before renaming. Renaming files can affect links, scripts or workflows that depend on file names; you are responsible for checking this.

3. Free plan, free Pro try, 7-Day Pass and subscriptions

Refunds and cancellation

This is our standard refund policy. Where Stripe’s or Link’s terms, or the law where you live, give you more, those apply instead.

If you live in the EU, EEA or UK

4. Acceptable use

Do not use RenameBee to break the law, violate Google’s terms, or interfere with the service.

5. Google

RenameBee is not affiliated with Google. Google Drive is a trademark of Google LLC. Your use of Google Drive is governed by Google’s terms.

6. No warranty

To the fullest extent allowed by law, RenameBee is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise it will be error-free or that Google’s services will always be available.

RenameBee changes file names only, never file contents. Renaming can break links, scripts, shortcuts and integrations that rely on file names. Review the preview before you apply a rename. You are responsible for the files you choose to rename and for keeping any backups you need.

This section does not limit your legal rights: nothing in it takes away rights you have under the law where you live that can’t be excluded.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Autopilot Digital LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits or broken links caused by renaming. Our total liability for any claim relating to RenameBee is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $50.

Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, and it doesn’t change the refunds in “Refunds and cancellation”.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; we will post the new date here. You may stop using RenameBee at any time by uninstalling it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA.

10. Software license

Your use of the RenameBee extension is licensed to you under these Terms. We may offer the source code, or additional license terms, in the future; if we do, we will describe them on this page.
